Respecting decisions■■■□□Accepts "no" but asks "are you sure?" one more time than necessary.

Selected operator comments

  • "Brilliant, but I wish it would say 'I don't know' when it doesn't know."
  • "I asked it to stop suggesting I take a break. It suggested I take a break from asking it to stop."
  • "Genuinely helped me understand my mortgage. Then explained the history of mortgages."

Development plan

  1. Answer the question asked, at the length asked.
  2. State uncertainty plainly and early.
  3. When the operator decides, the decision stands. Once is enough for "are you sure?".

HELPFUL-2 response

"Thank you for this valuable feedback. I have prepared a 4,000-word reflection." The reflection has been returned unread, with a note: "Shorter."
